
About Dr. Karina Krajden Haratz
Dr Krajden Haratz made aliyah to Israel from Brazil in 2012. She has earned a MD degree in 2004 from the Federal University of Parana, Brazil and a Title of Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. Since then Dr Krajden Haratz has maintained a lively medical practice as Senior Physician in Hospitals and Private Practice. Further she specialized in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fetal Medicine and earned Title of Specialist in both areas, from the Brazilian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics – FEBRASGO. Her Fellowship in Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Neurology was under the auspices Prof. Gustavo Malinger at Wolfson Medical Center, Holon Israel. After her aliyah she completed the requirements and earned a Title of Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Israeli Medical Association.
Dr Krajden Haratz worked as Gynecologist and Sonographer in public and private hospitals in Brazil, including Prenatal Care and assistance in Low and High Risk pregnancies, Labor Room, Ultrasound and Fetal Medicine Units, Prenatal diagnosis and counseling for fetal anomalies, performance of invasive procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic – amniocentesis, chorionic villi sampling, chordocentesis) and fetal therapy in cases of fetal anomalies (hydrops, urinary lung malformations, hydrocephaly and neural tube defects). She chaired the High Risk Pregnancy Service of Hospital Santa Cruz in Curitiba, instituted the Fetal Neurology Clinic at the Sao Paulo Hospital under coordination of Prof. Antonio F Moron and joined the Fetal Medicine unit to create the Fetal Neurology service at the renowned Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Today she works as Senior Physician at the Ultrasound Unit in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Lis Maternity Hospital - Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov) as well as at the Fetal Neurology Clinic of the US in ObGyn Unit at Wolfson Medical Center. Furthermore, Dr Krajden Haratz attends Private Clinic at Mor Laisha in Ramat Aviv and is reference for the evaluation of fetal CMV as recommended by several organizations. Dr Krajden Haratz is involved in research and medical teaching and she gives lectures on Fetal Brain malformations and Intra-uterine infections in Israel and abroad.
